Montana’s Joey Williams Claims Ellensburg Title in Record Setting Fashion

Joey Williams tied to set the arena record in Round 1 of the Ellensburg Rodeo and she went on to claim the championship title by the end of the week.

Williams’ won it all on a family raised and trained horse that her husband has also had tremendous success on in the team roping and now it’s Williams’ turn on the great horse.

“It’s just been a lot of fun all week and I cant thank the Ellensburg committee enough for having us here. We’re very thankful to be here,” she said.

With a time of 7.2 on three head, Williams finished strong against some of the toughest ladies in rodeo. She sits inside the Top 15 and is looking at a trip to Las Vegas come November.
