Martha Angelone Is Crowned Reno Rodeo Breakaway Champion

Consistency and hard work paid off for Martha Angelone as she was crowned Reno Rodeo’s Breakaway Roping Champion.

Breakaway roping was added as a sanctioned event to the Reno Rodeo in 2021.

“This is awesome that were apart of this now, it’s just an awesome feeling that we get to rope at these rodeos, we always dreamed of roping here,” Angelone said.

Angelone finished out the Championship Round with a run of 2.7 and secured her first Reno Rodeo win with an aggregate time of 8.2 seconds.
