Kaycee Feild’s history with both the Calgary Stampede and C5 Rodeo’s Black Feathers worked in the World Champion’s favor as he wins Round 2 of Pool C with an 87-point ride.
Although the win alone put a big smile on Feild’s face, the highlight of his Calgary Stampede are the memories being made with his son Hux as he joins him behind the chutes.
“I remember coming up here with my dad, I don’t remember him riding but I remember being behind the bucking chutes and all the other champions behind the chute and how much they cared about my dad and me and now my competitors and friends are the same way with my child and it makes it pretty dang special,” Feild said.
Only one round remains in Pool C and with a lot of money up up for grabs, Feild will be looking to make a big ride as we move into Showdown Sunday.
