Josie Conner Prepares For The WCRA Days of ’47 Cowboy Games and Rodeo

Josie Conner is headed to Salt Lake City to compete once again in one of her favorite arenas at the WCRA Days of ’47 Cowboy Games and Rodeo.

The Days of ’47 Cowboy Games and Rodeo is set to take place July 20-23 with a Gold Medal Round on July 25.

The Days of ’47 gives reference to the tradition in Salt Lake City by awarding the winning contestants a bronze, silver and gold medal on an Olympic style podium.

Conner is sitting in the No. 1 spot for the World Champions Rodeo Alliance leaderboard in breakaway roping and will have the chance to rope one calf to win $25,000.

“I would say that this rodeo was probably one of the biggest turning points in my career in 2019. As a 16-year-old I made it back to the Triple Crown Round and actually missed and I think it’s what made me and motivated me to step up my game,” Conner said.

Conner will be attending additional rodeos this July including Cheyenne, Salinas and Spanish Fork.
