Josie Conner Gets Round Two Win in Puyallup

Josie Conner is the No.1 rookie in the breakaway roping and she is on the bubble to making the National Finals Rodeo. She is currently sitting No. 18 in the WPRA World Standings with $39,364 just $3,400 outside the Top 15.

Although she did not have luck in Round 1, she came back with a vengeance in Round 2 to stop the clock at 2.7 seconds and add $2,700 to her season earnings.

“I’ve kind of made some mistakes this year and that’s why I’m right outside the Top 15 but at this point every dollar counts. So I just went out there and had fun tonight and I should probably start doing that more often,” Conner said.

She did not make it back to the Short Round but she is hungry for more as Conner gears up for the Pendleton Roundup.
