Josey Murphy Breakaway Ropes in Cheyenne

Josey Murphy stops the clock at Cheyenne Frontier Days with a 3.36 second run to become the new arena record holder and the second lady this week to do so.

Josey Murphy and her horse Berline both left the arena with a smile yesterday after smoking their run. Murphy is now sitting second in the average with 8.9 on two head.

This is the second year for Cheyenne Frontier Days to have breakaway roping in their list of events. Earlier in the week Carole Holler set a new record with a 4.2 and now, Josie Murphy can claim that title as she gets the round three win by one whole second.
