Jeff Askey Rides For 88 to Win Clark County Rodeo, Cracks Top 5 in World Standings

Jeff Askey drew a powerhouse of a bull in Performance No. 1 of the Clark County Fair & Rodeo and he made it count with 88 points to get the win.

“He’s a pretty stout bull, he’s real thick bodied and a lot of strength to him, a lot of power, kind of had me run back there at the end. I wish I would’ve finished him a little stronger but made it work,” Askey said of Ols Tubs Sunny of Macza Pro Rodeo.

For Askey, it all came down to try. He is sitting No. 5 in the world right now and he’s keeping it simple this year after having a rough ending to 2021. He is having fun and drawing good bulls, a recipe for success.
