In Calgary with With Wenda Johnson

Now leading Pool A in the barrel racing at the Calgary Stampede, Wenda Johnson turned in the fast times two days in a row, on two different horses.

On day one, she turned in a time of 17.22 seconds on her trusty Bay gelding Mac. On day two, she rode her less experienced 5-year-old quarter horse gelding Moe for a time of 17.20.

Following her second run, she talks about Moe’s performance, having two great horses on the road, her first trip to Calgary, and her newfound Canadian roots.
