With one of the largest payouts of the entire Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) season on the line, RODEOHOUSTON’s championship round promises breakout storylines and early-season shifts in the world standings.

In 2025, five RODEOHOUSTON champions went on to claim world titles, further proving the high-stakes nature of this championship shootout.

Through the semifinals and wild-card rounds, the top 10 athletes advance to NRG Stadium for the final — and most lucrative — round of the tournament: the Championship Round. Immediately following, the top four competitors will face off in a winner-take-all shootout, with a $65,000 payday, additional prizes and an exclusive invitation to the 2027 RODEOHOUSTON on the line.

Over the past three weeks of competition, compelling storylines have emerged, highlighting the sport’s top talent.

With $8,000 in earnings, bareback rider Bradee Miller looks to continue his strong success and capture the coveted title. Currently ranked No. 3 in the world standings, Miller has his sights set on taking over the top spot.

Barrel racer Emily Beisel, one of the event’s top earners, has collected $9,750 so far. While previous earnings do not carry into the final shootout, her performance underscores the consistency and strength of her equine team on one of the season’s largest patterns.

Breakaway ropers Macy Young and Beau Peterson will back into the box with $9,000 each, looking to extend their momentum.

In saddle bronc riding, a stacked field of world champions and rising stars sets the stage for a thrilling showdown. Four-time NFR qualifier Kade Bruno and young standout Easton West lead the way with $9,000 apiece entering the championship round.

Team roping world champions Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira have each earned $10,000 thus far, positioning themselves as favorites to add a RODEOHOUSTON title to their 2026 résumés.

It all comes down to this.

As champions are crowned and storylines unfold, all eyes turn to the emerging frontrunners of the 2026 season — and the headlines that will carry into the spring run and California rodeos.
