Before last night’s perf in Reno, we caught up with team roper Coleman Proctor at the Tailgate Party — broadcast live every day from outside Grandstand 3.

He talks through the format in Reno, what he loves about this rodeo, and where he’s most excited to over the summer.

Following the Pre-Show, Proctor and partner Logan Medlin turned in the fastest time of perf 1, stopping the clock at 4.5 seconds. They are currently sitting second overall in the average on two, behind leaders Derrick Begay and Cory Petska.
