Rodeo Houston always has a star-studded line up of performers for after the rodeo. One of the stars on this year’s list made his 23rd appearance and that was the one and only George Strait.
Not only did the King of Country Music make another appearance but his tequila, Codigo 1530, sponsored Rodeo Houston’s Ride of the Night.
“How about that? That’s awesome, we’re happy to be doing that. I love it, I’ve seen it and to have Codigo playing in the background while you’re showing the ride of the night, pretty cool,” he said.
Although he can no longer team rope, George Strait’s love for the sport of rodeo and the Western way is something that he will never give up.
