Gavin Michel snatched the win at the Gooding Pro Rodeo as the second-to-last bull rider to compete in the final performance.
Michel was 89 points on Macza Pro Rodeo’s Ugly Wish to clear previous leader Garrett Smith by three points.
“I was excited to see that bull by name,” he said. “Really old school looking 70s bull, fit me just right.”
Gooding marked Michel’s first win of the season and he earned a little more than $4,000.
