Barrel racer Leslie Smalygo is the Female Athlete of The Week after placing in multiple events this past week including Deadwood Days of 76, Nebraska’s Big Rodeo as well as the “Daddy of ‘em all” Cheyenne Frontier Days.

Smalygo turned in some of the fastest times at Cheyenne Frontier Days as she placed first in Performance 1 after making a run of 17.38. She was even better in the second Semifinal, winning with a time of 17.16. Smalygo qualified for the Final Round and finished out in second place after stopping the clock at 17.21 seconds.
