After six Quarterfinals, two Semifinals and one winner-take-all Championship Round, the Daddy of ‘Em All has concluded, and shook up the PRCA World Standings in the process.

Bareback and saddle bronc riding were both one by the reigning champion. Tim O’Connell was 88.5 points on Sozo to not only be No. 1 in Cheyenne, but also No. 1 in the world as he overtook long-time leader Jess Pope, who has missed the last few weeks due to injury.

Stetson Wright was the saddle bronc champion which resulted in him moving to No. 2 in the world. Wright was 88 points in the Finals and the next three cowboys were all either 87.5 or 87.

To round out the roughstock events, bull riding did not disappoint. Brady Portenier was 92.5 points in a Short Round that had already featured 90 point rides from both Garrett Smith and Josh Frost. Portenier went from No. 22 all the way to No. 15 following the win.

If the theme was repeat champions in the roughstock, it was co-champions in the timed events. Steer wrestling, tie-down roping and breakaway roping all ended with two athletes claiming the No. 1 spot.

In steer wrestling, Trell Etbauer and Justin Shaffer were both 5.4 second and they saved the best for last as that mark was the fastest of the entire rodeo.

In tie-down roping, Cory Solomon and Ryan Thibodeaux were both 10.3 in the Finals. That was the second fastest time of the entire rodeo and fastest outside of the Qualifier.

In breakaway roping, Macy Young and Tiffany Schieck were both 4 seconds flat in the Finals to each bank more than $10,000.

Team roping was won by a pair of veterans who teamed up less than two months ago. Clay Tryan/Jade Corkill won all three rounds they competed at Cheyenne Frontier Days and cinched the win with a 7.5 second run in the Finals, almost a full second faster than second place finishers Erich Rogers/Paden Bray and Chad Masters/Paul Eaves.

And in barrel racing Andrea Busby was 17.13 seconds in the Finals to get the win. Busby also won her Quarterfinal and brought in more than $15,000 at The Dad.
