Edgar Durazo is Proud to Have Won His Second Canadian Bull Riding Title

Edgar Durazo was the top bull rider in Red Deer when the dust settled on six rounds of blood, sweat and tears.

Winning the Average and the Canadian Championship is something that Durazo said made him so proud.

“It’s so special for me. It’s a dream come true and I can’t thank the Lord enough for every day and every step of the way... and I’m so proud,” Durazo said.

The Mexico native rode 5-of-6 bulls at the CFR, with his top score of 89 coming on Alberta Primes Devils Advocate in Round 1.

Between the Average and the rounds, Durazo won more than $46,000 and finished the season with $82,467.
