Dr. Tandy Freeman Gives Update on Bull Riders Trey Benton III and Reigning World Champion Ky Hamilton

The Justin Sportsmedicine team tells us more about the recent injuries sustained by the NFR Bullriders

Bracket 2 of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo had seven-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier Trey Benton III in the mix and unfortunately, Benton left the arena with multiple injuries.

After getting slammed down onto Bumpstock of Rafter G Rodeo’s, Benton sustained a concussion along with oral injuries that include losing a tooth and a laceration on his chin.

“He’s out tonight based on the concussion and the fact he wasn’t feeling very well today. He’ll need some time to get over that. The laceration is something that will heal on its own,” Dr. Freeman said.

As for the reigning World Champion Ky Hamilton, he has added numerous injuries to Justin Sportsmedicines list to watch. This included his right knee and a dislocated shoulder.

Dr. Freeman says that right now, neither one of Hamilton’s injuries require surgery, however, they might require time off that would take him off the rodeo road for a few weeks.
