Rodeo veteran and one of breakaway roping’s biggest ambassadors, Lari Dee Guy, The Cowboy Channel and Kimes Ranch Jeans will be hosting the Cowgirls in Quarantine Match Roping this week, LIVE on Facebook.

There will be a new match from a new location starting Tuesday, April 20th through Friday, April 24th. The matches will be streamed LIVE on The Cowboy Channel’s Facebook page at 1PM CST each day.

Some of breakaway roping’s toughest competitors were looking for a way to keep on top of their game and enhance the productivity in the practice pen when this idea came to mind. Hope Thompson and nine-time world champion Lari Dee Guy put some thought behind how to accomplish their goals while social distancing, reached out to some of their friends and fellow competitors who were all in the same predicament.

There were several ideas and discussion before we were able to settle on the idea of daily events, but it brings a part of rodeo back to the fans while we wait for our normal ways to become normal again.

Here’s how it will work...

Each “household” is going to be able to explain their format prior to their match including the number of calves for each girl and team will rope and how they will advance. The matches are broken up between four different households. The first of which will be held in Stephenville, TX at world champion Jackie Crawford’s place.

on top and where the donations will go in their local communities.
