Cole Reiner Wins Back to Back Championships at Horse Heaven Roundup

Cole Reiner has now won the Horse Heaven Roundup in Kennewick, Washington back to back years. This year, his title came after he went for 90.5 points on Calgary Stampede’s Agent Lynx to be 177 points on two head.

“The energy here on Saturday night is hard to beat and having a horse like that two years in a row is pretty near impossible so that’s super exciting,” Reiner said.

Calgary’s Agent Lynx got the best of Reiner during the Tour Finale in 2021 at California Rodeo Salinas and Reiner got his revenge at the Horse Heaven Roundup.

"[Agent Lynx] kind of got me in Salinas last year at the Tour Finale and every time I work out, anytime I do anything it’s been in preparation for that horse. I thought I was going to have him at the National Finals last year and I had to wait all the way until the end of August this year, but definitely a whole year of preparing and it feels so good to get that off my chest,” he said.

Reiner sits No. 2 in the PRCA World Standings and with one month left in the regular season, he is making every ride count.

Professional rodeo action consists of two types of competitions - roughstock events and timed events - and an all-around cowboy crown.
