Clayton Sellars Takes Command of Pool A Bull Riding in Calgary With Round 3 Win

Clayton Sellars had the highest marked ride of the rodeo on Sunday afternoon at The Calgary Stampede with 88.5 points on Outlaw Buckers’ Afraid to Nod.

“That’s a big scary, bull,” he said. “I knew he could buck hard if he wanted to....He’s a really fun bull and I’m glad I matched him.”

Sellars is 3-for-3 and no one else in Pool A has covered more than one bull. He has earned $13,500 to open up a massive lead in Pool A competition with one qualifying round remaining. Reid Oftendahl and Josh Frost, the other two round winners, are splitting second with $5,500 apiece.

The Top 4 cowboys in each pool by money earned advance to Championship Sunday on July 17. You can watch The Calgary Stampede daily on The Cowboy Channel and PRCA on Cowboy Channel+.
