Clay Tryan/Jade Corkill Pick Up Back-to-Back Round Wins After Semifinal Triumph in Cheyenne

Clay Tryan and Jade Corkill have both won Cheyenne Frontier Days in the past, but never together. However, the pair with a combined six Gold Buckles between them looked very comfortable the last two days as they won their Quarterfinal Round on Thursday and turned right around to split the win in their Semifinal on Friday.

“I’ve tried to stay back and not push him over to the left fence and let my header do his job,” Corkill said after their 8.4 second run Friday afternoon.

“It’s easy when they’re that good,” Tryan added. “That steer was easy, the last two have been really easy. Hopefully we got one more in us.”

There are two performances remaining at Cheyenne Frontier Days, the second Semifinal on Saturday and the Finals on Sunday. Both are at 3 PM ET only on The Cowboy Channel and PRCA on Cowboy Channel+.
