Steer wrestler Scott Guenthner is semi-retired from the rodeo road, but the Calgary Stampede continues to be a place of success for the Alberta cowboy.
Guenthner earned his second Calgary Stampede bronze after stopping the clock at 3.7 seconds in both the Semi-finals and Showdown Round.

“I got to ride the great horse, Eddie, of Tanner Milan’s. He gives me a great shot. I tried to drill the barrier and get a start and hope for the best,” Guenthner said.
The win came after Guenthner received the Guy Weadick Award, adding to the emotions on Showdown Sunday.
Guenthner is the No. 10-ranked steer wrestler in the PRCA World Standings and now a two-time Calgary Stampede Champion.
