By the Numbers: A Look Back at the Weekend in Rodeo

It was a big month of April for some of the top names in the PRCA, here is a look at the top storylines by the numbers.

Sage Kimzey has closed the gap between him and Colten Fritzlan who currently sits in first place in the Bull Riding World Standings. Sage has ridden five straight bulls for an average of 87.5 points, including two rides over 90 points at the Cactus Jack Xtreme Bulls event which he won. Kimzey has been able to close the gap because Fritzlan shifted his focus to the PBR for a stretch and now sits in sixth place in the PBR World Standings.

In Saddle Bronc riding nobody has been better than Dawson Hay over the last month. Hay moved up to sixth place in the World Standings after beginning April in 25th place. Hay has averaged over 83 points per ride since March, and hasn’t gone sub 80 on an 8 second ride since February.
