Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi won the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo in spectacular fashion.
She made four runs between 15.22 and 14.89 seconds and placed in the Top 3 in every round. She saved her fastest run for the Finals, saving the third barrel and beating Bradi Whiteside and Emma Charleston by over a tenth of a second.
“You know I’ve just been super blessed to have the horses I have,” she said. “It never gets old winning.”
The win gives Pozzi Tonozzi five wins in 17 years in Denver and this year, she banked over $16,000 for her performance, which was about $5,000 more than any other competitor at the event in any event.
