Breaking Down the Top Bareback Horses at the 2022 NFR

The NFR stock has been announced, and as always, the best of the best will be bucking in Las Vegas come December. Here is a breakdown of the top NFR Bareback stock.

All Pink is one of the headliners of the animal athletes. Jess Pope went 88.5 points on All Pink at the 2021 NFR. All Pink will be bucking in round five and round 10 this year. This year the average score on All Pink was 84.00 points, the second highest of the horse’s career. Cole Franks was the high-marked cowboy, going 88.50 points on the bucking horse at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.

Maybe the most desired draw of the pen is Calgary Stampede’s Xplosive Skies. Xplosive Skies was the horse of the year in 2021 after averaging over 91 points a year ago. This season, Logan Hay broke the Saddle Bronc World Record on Xplosive Skies. The high-marked ride of the season for Xplosive Skies was at the Washing State Fair and Rodeo where Leighton Berry went 90 points. No qualified ride was lower than 83.50 this season.

Frontier Rodeo’s Full Baggage will be making another appearance at the NFR after Kaycee Feild went 90 points in round three last year. Leighton Berry was the high-marked cowboy this season on Full Baggage, going 89.50 points at the San Antonio Rodeo and Stock Show.
