No one was quite sure how JB Mauney would handle his first NFR qualification or how Ky Hamilton would bounce back from a life-threatening injury, but in Round 1, both put any doubt to rest.
It was an amazing first round of bull riding and Hamilton and Mauney were both 87.5 and each won more than $24,000.
