This year in the bull riding was one of the most interesting ever, according to our own Steve Kenyon.
We had JB Mauney making the transition from the PBR to the PRCA, rising star Stetson Wright, perhaps the greatest ever Sage Kimzey and of course, Shane Proctor returning to rodeo’s biggest stage for first time since 2016.
Year-after-year across the PBR and PRCA, Proctor got on more bulls than anybody and after rodeoing full-time in the PRCA, the 2011 World Champion made his sixth National Finals.
As part of his best moments of 2021, Steve Kenyon looks at some of Proctor’s best rides of the year, including: 89 at Pendleton Xtreme Bulls, 88 in Ellensburg, 83.5 through injury in Calgary and several others.
