Mason Clements is now a four-time National Finals Rodeo bareback rider after just barely missing out on the last two as the No. 17 man in the final PRCA World Standings each year.

He is the No. 11 cowboy with $126,166 to his name when he enters Las Vegas. This regular season is already the third-highest paying year of his career.

BIGGEST PAYDAYS

Cinch Playoffs Governor’s Cup (South Dakota), $28,750

It came down to the last weekend of the regular season for Clements and he fought hard to secure his trip to Las Vegas. Tying for third in Round 1 and placing fifth in Round 2 advanced Clements to the Semifinals where an 85.5-point ride moved him on to the Finals. There, a match up with Powder River Rodeo’s Two Buck Chuck resulted in a $25,000, 87.5-point winning ride. The win moved from No. 19 to No. 11 in the World during the final weekend of the regular season.

Fiesta Days Rodeo (Utah), $9,080

It was a second-place finish at his hometown rodeo in Spanish Fork, Utah for Clements that ended up being his second highest paying rodeo of the regular season at 88 points. The same weekend in July, he also won almost $4,000 from the Snake River Stampede (Idaho).

Wilderness Circuit Finals, $8,302

Kicking off his season in a big way at the Wilderness Circuit Finals back in November of 2022 gave Clements momentum. He won two Go-Rounds and placed second in another to win the Average with a total of 254.5 points on three head.

HIGHEST MARKED RIDES

San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, 87.5 Points

After battling his way through Bracket 5 and the Semifinals, Clements found himself matched up with Macza Pro Rodeo’s Side Show in the Finals of one of the largest winter rodeos. He would make his second highest marked ride of the regular season when he put an 87.5 on the board.

Canby Rodeo (Oregon), 87.5 Points

Clements made another 87.5-point ride this season in Canby, Oregon. This would come along with eight seconds of grit aboard Soap Bubbles of Calgary Stampede and would be enough for a second-place payday. Canby marked the last of seven straight checks to start August for Clements.

Sisters Rodeo (Oregon), 87 Points

A $5,700 win came Clements way in Oregon in June. Before officially kicking off the summer swing, Clements went 87 points on Corey & Lange Rodeo’s Trail Ryder to win Sisters by a point and a half. It marked the fifth different Oregon rodeo he has won in his career.

NOTABLE WINS

Gem State Classic Pro Rodeo, 86 points

More success on a Powder River Rodeo bronc came his way at the Gem State Stampede. A matchup with Flip A Coin, Clements put together the winning ride of 86 points. The next closest cowboy came in with 82.
