Top athletes from the West Coast region delivered standout performances at The American Rodeo West Regional Finals in Las Vegas, securing their places at the sport’s crown jewel — The American Rodeo Championship Weekend.

With all regional qualifiers complete, attention turns to Arlington, Texas, where competitors will vie for a share of the historic $2 million qualifier bonus. Simply put: all roads lead to Arlington.

Each region featured all eight rodeo disciplines. Semifinals included up to 125 athletes per event, comprised of qualifier advancements, competitors ranked No. 6–20 in the 2025 PRCA/WPRA world standings — with five seeded per region — and a limited number of direct buy-ins.

More than $540,000 in prize money was guaranteed at the regional level. In total, 27 athletes earned $10,000 each and advanced to Globe Life Field on May 22–23.

There, they will face the sport’s elite: the top five finishers from the 2025 PRCA/WPRA world standings in each discipline. That group includes 10-time world champion Stetson Wright, bareback standout Rocker Steiner, two-time barrel racing world champion Kassie Mowry and three-time tie-down roping world champion Riley Webb.

The stage is set inside the home of the Texas Rangers.

At the South Point Hotel and Casino Arena in Las Vegas, West Regional champions were crowned, finalizing the roster for Championship Weekend.

World champion bareback rider Keenan Hayes continued his winning ways, claiming the top position in the qualifier. Hayes, no stranger to high-pressure stages, now turns his focus to Arlington and the $2 million prize.

In the breakaway roping, Hadley Thompson posted a blazing 1.79-second run in the final round to secure the win. The 2025 Resistol Rookie of the Year will look to build on her momentum against a deep field in Arlington.

Team ropers Pedro Egurrola and Michael Camarillo Jr. took top honors in Las Vegas. Also advancing are 26-time world champion Trevor Brazile and his son, Treston Brazile, who teamed up for a memorable father-son run to reach Championship Weekend.

In the saddle bronc riding, Utah’s Allen Boore won the regional title with an 86.75-point ride, earning his spot in Arlington. The two-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier will compete against a mix of seasoned veterans and rising talent.

Oregon steer wrestler Kaden Greenfield secured his place with a 3.92-second run. Following in the footsteps of his National Finals Rodeo-qualifying father, Greenfield now looks to make his own mark.

Tie-down roper Corey Solomon delivered a strong 7.72-second run in the final round to claim the win and $10,000 payday, continuing his consistent success at the highest level.

Hometown barrel racer Hailey Krahenbuhl topped the leaderboard to earn her berth in Arlington, while bull rider Kase Hitt clinched his spot with an 87.25-point ride.

With regional competition complete, athletes will cherish their wins in Las Vegas, Oklahoma City and Lexington before turning their focus to the American Rodeo Championship Weekend, set for May 22–23 at Globe Life Field.

All eyes now shift to Arlington.
