A Weekend at Frontier Rodeo Ranch

We were recently invited by Frontier Rodeo Company rodeo manager Heath Stewart to spend the weekend with him and his crew at the Frontier Rodeo ranch in Oklahoma — where all of the 5X Stock Contractor of the Year’s animals are currently enjoying their time off relaxing and waiting to get back on the rodeo trail.

The some 10,000 acres that make up the ranch are home to approximately 300 head of bucking horses, mares and colts, 80 or so bucking bulls and breeding stock, 300 head of roping steers and around 100 head of bulldogging steers.

When not filming or hanging with the crew, we spent our weekend getting to know the saddle bronc and bareback horses — including Medicine Woman, Maple Leaf, and Gunfire. We even became some of the first to meet Gunfire’s new little sister!

See more on Frontier Rodeo on the upcoming edition of ProRodeo Tonight! We’ll have an interview with rodeo manager Heath Stewart, along with an in depth look at the company’s award-winning animals, its breeding program, and more behind the scenes from the ranch! Saturday at 7PM ET
