2X Steer Wrestling Horse of the Year Scooter

Shot before the 2019 NFR, this video pays homage to the 2X AQHA | PRCA Steer Wrestling Horse of the Year Scooter.

Owned by Tyler Pearson and Kyle Irwin, Scooter first won a Horse of the Year title, as well as a World Championship title, in 2017. He’s been helping some of the best in business make it to the pay window, and the National Finals, ever since.

As Luke Branquinho says, “There’s four things about a bull dogging horse: their mannerism in the box, speed, scoring, and the ability to put anybody on their back to help them win. Scooter has all of those things.

“Often times, there’ll be four cowboys on the back of Scooter, carrying them to the pay window along with his sidekick Metallica. That goes to show you how important it is to have a good horse in the rodeo business.”

Watch Scooter in his multiple 2017 performances during the 40 Nights of NFR. Round 1 kicks off tonight at 8:00 PM ET.
