Zero In: Cullen Telfer Quietly Putting Together Career Year

Cullen Telfer has not finished inside the Top 50 in his career. That is set to change in 2023 as he is No. 10 in the PRCA World Standings after putting together a great first half of the season.

Telfer has earned more in 2023 than all other years of his career combined with $49,604.

The biggest change for Telfer has been his riding percentage. In 2022, he averaged over 82 points per ride, but he was covering just 30 perce t of his bulls. In 2023, however, he is covering over 45 percent of bulls.

That and his 81.5-point average have him comfortably inside the Top 15.

Telfer has seen a rise in the standings after cashing checks of over $1,000 in each of his last three qualified rides, including a win at the Wild Rogue Pro Rodeo.

Telfer is looking to make his first career NFR and is setting himself up nicely as he enters the summer run.
