Zack Jongbloed knew he had to be fast to advance to the next round in San Antonio, which freed him up to be more aggressive. Jongbloed stopped the clock at 7.4 seconds to win the round and ensure he would be moving on.
“I had a great calf and my horse worked great,” said Jongbloed after his stellar run.
Not only did the run earn him a trip to the semis, but it also gave him a confidence boost.
“It feels great, hopefully, we get enough to make it back and just build on that.”
Jongbloed advanced along with John Douch, Lane Livingston, and Blake Ash out of Bracket 5.
