Yance Day knew he had a good horse drawn when he say Cervi Championship Rodeo’s Wyatt Earp next to his name for the first performance of the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo.
“On paper he just looked like a nice little hopper. But out there he was more than just a nice little hopper, he was a souped up hopper and one you’d drive across the country to get on for sure,” Day said.
With his 87.5-point ride, Day is in a great position going into the second round of Pool 1.
Day and the rest of the athletes who competed Thursday night will compete in their second of two Long Rounds on Friday afternoon on The Cowboy Channel and Cowboy Channel+.
