Wyatt Casper Takes On Lancaster & Jones’ Angel Fire to Move to No. 2 in San Angelo

Wyatt Casper finally had his chance to go toe-to-toe with National Finals bucking horse of Lancaster and Jones Pro Rodeo, Total Equine Angel Fire, and ended up putting an 86-point ride on the board.

“I’ve seen it with a lot of my buddies and it’s been around for a while and that’s just a really nice horse that you get to go out there and do your job. It makes bronc riding fun when you get to get on those,” Casper said.

After a little struggle in the chutes, Casper’s focus was on the mark out and staying ahead of Angel Fire. It was a ride that has Casper likely moving on to the Finals in San Angelo.

“It helps a lot to be able to beat some of these guys here. There’s a lot of guys out and it’s a really good rodeo so you really got to bring you’re a game. To be 86 here, it’s a blessing, I’ve been here a bunch and I don’t think I’ve ever cracked the 80’s and I’m glad to finally get it done this year,” he said.
