Wyatt Casper Looks to Continue Hot Streak in 2021

It was a big 2020 for Wyatt Casper, but if you ask him, not big enough. Casper finished in second place in the World Standings behind Ryder Wright who had a historic NFR.

It is clear that Casper is a man on a mission in 2021 to claim his first career World Title. In the time since the NFR, Casper has three tour wins, including two in the last two weeks.

Casper took the Southeastern Livestock Exposition and Rodeo with an 87 point ride on Pow Wow Nights.

Casper said, “She felt really good for me, did everything you wanted a bucking horse to do, I had fun.”

The win in Montgomery earned Casper a check $4,600 check. That win came a week after a win in Arcadia, Florida on Miss Ellie.

“She’s (Miss Ellie) not really one you are excited about getting drawn because you have to have your hammer cocked on her because she is going to try you on every single jump. I tell everybody she is probably the strongest horse I have ever put a saddle on.”

After the hot stretch, Casper has moved up to sixth in the World Standings with just under $20,000 earned on the season.
