Wrangler NFR General Manager Glen Alan Phillips steps down

Las Vegas Events is looking for a new General Manager for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.

Glen Alan Phillips took the job in 2020 and was responsible for guiding the NFR through the COVID-19 pandemic. When he took the job, he had no idea the National Finals would move from Las Vegas to Arlington.

“Serving as the general manager of the Wrangler NFR was both challenging and fulfilling. However, my current role at the American Royal in Kansas City will require my full attention going forward,” Phillips said. “The NFR is the Super Bowl of rodeo and will continue to set the standard in our industry.”

PRCA CEO George Taylor praised Phillips, saying he demonstrated professionalism, teamwork and leadership.
