Shelby Boisjoli and Sawyer Gilbert have a leg up on the field heading into the National Finals Breakaway Roping but that could change fast.
Boisjoli ($52,846) is No. 1 in the WPRA Breakway Roping World Standings and Gilbert ($51,122) is not far behind, after that, the next closest cowgirl is Erin Johnson ($38,324).
After that, there are plenty of decorated veterans in the field. No. 4 JJ Hampton ($37,214) is a 17-time WPRA World Champion, No. 6 Lari Dee Guy ($36,428) has eight WPRA World Championships, seven of which have come since 2010 and No. 7 Jackie Crawford ($36,174) has 18 WPRA World Championships and over $500,000 in earnings in her career.
