WPRA Barrel Racing World Standings, Sept. 13: Sissy Winn Moves to No. 10, Stevi Hillman Sits Inside Top 15

The WPRA Barrel Racing Standings consist of household names as well as those fighting for their first trip to the National Finals Rodeo. Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi has continued to set records and cash checks throughout the season as she holds steady at No. 1 with Jordon Briggs trailing by $86,360 at No. 2.

As the standings continue to shift with less than three weeks remaining in the regular season, these cowgirls are giving it all they’ve got for their shot at a National Finals Rodeo qualification.

No. 1 Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi, $264,882

Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi has taken her talent to a whole new level this season as she continues to further her lead at No. 1 with $264,882 in total earnings. She is set to secure her 17th National Finals Rodeo qualification. Tonozzi’s most recent win took place in Puyallup as she not only claimed the Cinch Playoffs Championship Title, but set yet another record with a run of 13.99 seconds.

No. 6 Jessica Routier, $116,256

Jessica Routier locked in a check for just over $11,500 at the Cinch Playoffs and is now sitting just outside the Top 5 at No. 6 in the World Standings. Routier advanced into the Semifinals in the No. 1 position with 28.74 seconds on two head to ultimately claim third place in the Short Go with a run of 14.28 seconds. With less than three weeks remaining in the regular season, Routier has punched her ticket to her sixth National Finals Rodeo.

No. 10 Sissy Winn, $102,451

At No. 10 in the World Standings, Sissy Winn is headed in a great direction towards a second National Finals Rodeo qualification. Winn added to her earnings as she pulled a check for just over $4,000 at the Cinch Playoffs. A second place check in Round 2 with a run of 14.44 seconds helped to secure her spot in the Semifinals where she finished out at No. 8.

No. 13 Summer Kosel, $96,353

Summer Kosel locked in a fifth place check at the Lewiston Roundup (Idaho) where she stopped the clock at 17.30 seconds. Kosel added $1,473 to her earnings, bringing her to No. 13 in the WPRA World Standings with $96,353 in total and the chance at a National Finals Rodeo qualification.

No. 15 Stevi Hillman, $92,964

Seven-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier Stevi Hillman remains on the bubble at No. 15 after cinching a check for just over $2,500 at the Cinch Playoffs in Puyallup. Hillman turned in a 14.28-second run in Round 1 to pull a check and shuffle inside the Top 15 with an eighth trip to the Thomas & Mack now in reach.
