The WPRA World Standings for barrel racing are topped by reigning World Champion Jordon Briggs who has a substantial lead of over $50,000. But the ladies that are hot on her heels are some of rodeos best along with a rookie that is gunning for the National Finals Rodeo.

HAILEY KINSEL SHERIDAN WYO RODEO

Three-time World Champion Hailey Kinsel is currently No. 7. Although she slowed down this season and has been giving her younger horses a chance to shine, success still follows Kinsel everywhere. She has pulled checks all over the state of Wyoming in Casper, Laramie and Sheridan as she looks forward to another trip to Las Vegas.

Rookie barrel racer Bayleigh Choate has steadily climbed her way through the standings to currently be sitting No. 10 in the World. She capitalized at California Rodeo Salinas cashing in almost $9,000 before she headed to Canada where her success would continue. She had a second-place finish in Medicine Hat, Ablerta, a first-place finish High Prairie, Alberta and her most recent check came from Grimshaw.

MICHELLE DARLING DODGE CITY ROUNDUP

Michelle Darling is now the No. 12 ranked barrel racer after she cinched her second career title at the Dodge City Roundup. She has been on a hot streak in the month of August earning over $11,000 in the first week alone on her phenomenal mare, Martini.
