The WPRA Barrel Racing Standings have shifted only slightly as many of the cowgirls hold steady in their positions within the Top 20.
Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi continues to further her lead with a lucrative week in Idaho while Ashley Castleberry jumped five spots to land inside the Top 20 with a win at the Canby Rodeo.
Stevie Hillman, Sissy Winn and Dona Kay Rule are sitting just outside the Top 15 and with six weeks reaming in the season, it could be anybone’s game.
No. 1 Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi, $208,868
Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi now lead by over $67,500 as she has collected $208,868 in earnings. Tonozzi brought in an additional $15,600 over the past week as she cinched the win at the Caldwell Night Rodeo with an aggregate time of 50.90 on three head to secure a check for just over $10,000. Tonozzi was in the money atht he Moses Lake Roundup and the Montana Fair and Rodeo to pull two checks worth $5,531. The success of her season has set Tonozzi up for her seventeenth appearance at the National Finals Rodeo.
No. 6 Jessica Routier, $103,125
Jessica Routier has slowly made her way up the World Standings as she now sits just outside the Top 5 with $103,125 in earnings for the 2023 season and continues to pull check from across the country. Routier secured a first place check at the Fallon County Fair & Rodeo and the Yellowstone River Round-Up to bring in a total of $7,415. With over $103,000 in earnings Routier is set for a a sixth trip to the Thomas and Mack.
No. 19 Ashley Castleberry, $66,275
Ashley Castleberry now sits on the bubble at No. 19 after securing the win at the Canby Rodeo just before pulling a check in Gooding and Caldwell. Castleberry brought in just under $13,000, catapulting her into the Top 20.
