Kassie Mowry claims back-to-back championship titles at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo with a show stopping run of 13.68 seconds

Barrel racer and renowned horsewoman Kassie Mowry has once again etched her name in San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo history by clinching her second consecutive championship title at the Frost Bank Center.

In 2023, Mowry secured victory with a remarkable run clocking in at 13.95 seconds during the Final Round. This year, she outdid herself, blazing through the arena in an incredible 13.68 seconds, marking the fastest run of the entire rodeo and solidifying her hold on the No. 1 position.

Mowry’s journey to victory saw her qualify for the Finals after emerging from Bracket 4 in the No. 2 spot, earning $4,000 and sharing second place in Semifinals 1 alongside Reigning World Champion Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi.

With her earnings in San Antonio totaling $22,500, Mowry is sure to climb in the WPRA World Standings as she sets her sights on securing her fourth qualification for the National Finals Rodeo.
