Woodward Elks_1280

Over $160,000 is up for grabs this year at the 93rd annual Woodward Elks Rodeo in Woodward, Oklahoma. Behind Guymon Pioneer Days, it is the second richest PRCA Rodeo in the Sooner State. Here is a look at the format of the rodeo and what to watch for.

The Woodward Elks Rodeo is a simple format to understand. Athletes across all events are given one opportunity to submit their fastest run or highest-marked ride. The only event with more than one round is steer roping, where cowboys compete in three rounds and the Average winner is crowned champion.
