Garrett Smith won the Redding Rodeo in thrilling fashion by riding for 90.5 points on the final day of the one-header.
“This is awesome, we’re finally getting to rodeo and have a crowd,” he said. “What really motivates me is my old buddy I used to ride bulls with, now he steer wrestles, Stetson Jorgensen. He always pulls my rope......It makes it kind of a family deal.”
Smith’s win earned him close to $5,000 and moved the three-time NFR qualifier to No. 22 in the PRCA World Standings.
