Brandon Cullins has won more than $1 million in his barrel racing career and now he’ll be riding for another $1 million at the finals of RFD-TV’s The American. It is his fifth trip to the finals.
Cullins earned $15,500 thanks to a time of 13.40.
“I think the horse I have this year, he’s pretty well setup for that pen so I’m hoping it’ll work out for us,” he said.
This was only the third time Cullins had rode Sharpie in competition.
“He’s pretty easy to figure out,” Cullins said. “It’s really him doing all of that not me.”
