Steve Kenyon said it best, bull fighting has blossomed over the last few years.
Ultimate Freestyle Bullfighters has partnered with the Fort Worth Stockyards and PBR to bring 27 events to Cowtown Coliseum that will pay out $500,000 to the bullfighters.
Their first event takes place on March 10, where fans can watch freestyle bullfighting as well as new, unseen games. With Bullfighting now being a performance in itself, the athletes will show off their skills and tricks, while being teamed off to compete in two different groups.
With the success that came with the 2021 Ultimate Freestyle Bullfighting Finals, the uprise in fans and popularity brought upon the idea to continue these events year-round.
“With this type of format, you don’t have to be a rodeo fan, you don’t have to be a bull riding fan, you just want to see a little bit of chaos happening inside the dirt, and that’s what we’re going to bring to the table here in Fort Worth.” Kaufman says.
There will be several events in conjunction with PBR Teams Events and Challenger Events, however, the Ultimate Freestyle Bullfighting’s main staple will be in Fort Worth at the Cowtown Coliseum throughout the duration of this year.
