In a night with four rides marked 87 points or more, Ty Wallace and Roscoe Jarboe emerged victorious. Both men turned in 89.5-point rides to win the Go-Round.

Matching up with Magic Poison, Jarboe got a chance to repeat one of the best bull rides of his life. He rode that bull for 93 points in Dodge City earlier in the year and he delivered once again in the rematch.

JARBOE’S RIDE

“I was blessed to get him again today and do my job,” Jarboe said. “He’s kind of a do it the same way every time kind of bull so I just sat up, keep my hips underneath me, he wants to get a guy’s feet and I didn’t let that happen.”

For Wallace, his ride kept him right in the heart of the Gold Buckle race. He now has $204,560 to his name, about $40,000 clear of second-place Stetson Wright. Wallace is also second in the average with 444 points on 5 head.

Wallace says he is still taking things one bull at a time and feels very calm despite closing in on his first career Gold Buckle.

WALLACE’S RIDE

The only cowboy in front of Wallace in the average is Colten Fritzlan, who is 6-for-8 and has amassed 517.5 points.

Fritzlan is currently third in the world standings.
