Ty Murray and Trevor Brazile Discuss Their Lives Post-Rodeo

Trevor Brazile and Ty Murray had two of the most successful ProRodeo careers of all time and they have also done huge things outside of the arena in their respective retirements.

Brazile has been involved in several roping horse futurities and other business ventures. That’s in addition to raising a family as his kids get more involved with rodeo and other sports themselves.

“Once you say you’re retired, you really don’t have any excuses as to why you can’t do anything, so you get to say yes a lot more,” he joked.

Murray, on the other hand, has been running his ranch in Stephenville for 28 years in addition to raising a young family of his own.

“To be able to have that and to have it for so long, I feel like I still appreciate it as much now as I did when I first bought it,” he said.

There’s one post-rodeo venture not to ask Murray about, however.

“I got PTSD from Dancing With the Stars,” he joked. “I think I’ve blocked it all out.”
