After getting bucked off the first two go-rounds of Bracket 3 in San Antonio, Tristen Hutchings got his redemption to the tune of 86 points on Cervi Championship Rodeo’s Alpine Fertilizer. This also made him the No. 2 bull rider to qualify for the Semifinals behind Dawson Gleaves.
“Yeah, he’s awesome. He’s a great bull. He’s a good bull to have in the bracket system and to continue on, me and Dawson are traveling together now, so it’s really good both of us making it back to the Semifinals,” Hutchings said.
With only one other qualified ride in Round 3, Hutchings also cashed in on some ground money that brought his total earnings in San Antonio to $3,750. We will see him and Gleaves along with Lukasey Morris and T Parker again in the Semifinals.
