Tristen Hutchings is one of just a few qualified rides in Salt Lake City and he was the only one to ride on the Thursday night performance to cinch his spot in the Gold Medal Round.
“I had just a nice bull and I capitalized on getting him rode. They brought some buckers tonight, there was eight in the draw and six of them have been to the finals… I just drew a nice bull and I did my job and that’s all I can ask myself to do,” Hutchings said.
Hutchings says he has been drawing good bulls and just trying to capitalize, taking the highs with the lows. Hutchings will return to Salt Lake City for the Utah Days of ’47 Gold Medal Round.
