Trey Benton III captures two of three go round wins in San Antonio. The second came in Round 3 with an 86-point ride aboard Stockyards Rodeo’s Shakedown.
“I thought I let one get by that first round so I made sure to not let the other two get me,” Benton said.
Being the only qualified ride in Round 3, Benton cashed in $7,000 with the ground money included. In a stacked field of bull riders, he walked away the champion with a spot in the Semifinals. Joining him in the Semis will be Tyler Bingham, Clayton Savage and Ernie Courson Jr.
